Parents, did you know that if each child at LRE brought in one milk cap and one Box Top or Labels for Education label a month, our school would raise an additional $1250 with little or no effort. If your family is anything like mine, we could contribute 4 milk caps and at least 4 labels a month, drastically increasing LRE's earnings and doing nothing extra except wash the caps and cut out the labels.
We will be having a milk cap collection challenge this fall. Please be watching for more information. The teachers are generating a wish list of items that could be purchased with funds from these corporate donations. We are participating in the following corporate donation programs: Kemps milk caps, MooLa milk caps & Glazers donut box labels (Kwik Trip), Land O Lakes milk caps, Box Tops for Education (small pink rectangles on items such as General Mills cereal), Labels for Education (caps from V8 juices & labels from Campbells soup) and empty ink/toner cartridges. We are currently not collecting Tyson chicken labels anymore. A very specific list will be sent home in a Thursday folder this month. |

We Need Your Help!
The year has started and there are still several open positions for the many important projects and events the PTA coordinates. All of these events have volunteers that want to help. However, we need one person to step up and be the lead for each project or event listed. Please review the list and let us know what YOU can coordinate! If you have questions, please contact Andrea Backlund at andrea.backlund@libertyridgepta.org.
